Duo/Trio

The Red Planet performs as a duo or a trio as well as the full band. For many years now, John and Pete have been doing duo gigs as the Red Planet Duo. When they play, their guitars blend seamlessly into a whole, where you can’t tell where one guitar ends and the other begins. They’ve played together so much that they somehow know where the other is going to go and can adjust on the fly for some truly inspiring improvisations. Also, quite often they’ll play as a trio, with either Pat (or sometimes Billy Bileca) on bass—either upright or electric.
